2022 has been a very eventful year.

We have witnessed many global phenomena, some more positive than others. For instance, we had huge humanitarian crises in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and Iran. We also had a global war between Ukraine and Russia, represented as a war between the East and West world. Moreover, we had economic crises, boosted by inflation and slowing down growth in many European countries and American states. However, we have also had some positive news, such as the easing of the Covid-19 pandemic in developed countries. Furthermore, we had many important global sports events, such as the winter Olympic games in China and the Football World Cup in Qatar.

During this year, influenced by my personal life path experiences as well as the global phenomena going on in 2022 as previously mentioned, I had the chance to read some books, mainly non-fiction, that triggered my interest and enriched me with new knowledge, perspectives and passions.

The main books I have read are as follows:

  • Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus by Wittgenstein ★★★
  • Antifragile by Nassin Nicholas Taleb ★★★★★
  • The Exponential Age by Azeem Azhar ★★★★★
  • Opening Doors Within by Eileen Caddy ★★★★
  • Out of Our Minds: The Power of Being Creative by Sir Ken Robinson ★★★★★
  • The Concise Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene ★★
  • Monsieur Ibrahim et less fleurs du Coran by Eric E. Schmitt ★★★
